Day 3 – Treve
Day three and all is well. Set off across a park in Bath then up a huge hill into the Cotswolds (apparently) then drop down to the Severn Bridge which was stunning to ride a bike over.
Through Chepstow then up into the Ross on Wye and the Wye valley which was epic. Nice little diversion up a hill which for those of you that know Helston was like Cades Park but a mile long. By the time I got the top I was quite near the moon!
The notes today said this was an easier day, it wasn’t unless 6608 feet can be counted as somehow easier.
Tomorrow off to Haydock, between Liverpool and Manchester. Apart from a tight right achilles now problems with the body or fitness so the status here is “within normal parameters”.
Thank you for all of your comments. I haven’t been able to look at those from this afternoon yet as we haven’t got internet here in Ludlow so I am hoping this will send when reception comes back.
Till tomorrow J
