T minus 2 days
The first of many posts about the ride. I don’t want to bore anyone but quite a few people have asked for regular updates so I will be posting them on here for the next fortnight.
I hope you all know me well enough that it will cheer me up if you can all enjoy my pain and suffering during the 9 days of the epic ride. Any postings of support (and/or mockery) will be greatly appreciated. I think that the more posts I get the easier the ride will be.
First post …….
Very nervous now and very excited (like a Duracell Bunny) Rosie and I are undertaking the Ride Across Britain in aid of the Cornwall branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and Penhaligon’s Friends. These charities are local and do good, valued work quietly and really make a difference to people who need help in some difficult times. Please, if you can spare a few pounds, go to http://virginmoneygiving.com/team/EvansFalco to donate….and thanks to those of my great friends who already have done.
